Confidential Counselling Contact persons according to State Higher Education Act (Landeshochschulgesetz LHG BaWü)
If you are looking for confidential counselling, would like to find out about the options available to you to clarify a situation that is stressful for you and/or would like information on legal aspects or internal university procedures, you can contact the contact persons listed below.
§ 4a (1) and (2) of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act states that the contact persons for questions relating to sexual harassment and anti-discrimination are ‘not bound by instructions in this function’. They are also subject to a duty of confidentiality and provide confidential counselling.
The LHG-contact persons can be addressed in the event of violations of the Senate Guideline on Fair Conduct in the context of (sexual) harassment, bullying, stalking and discrimination (for example in the form of sexist, racist, antisemitic, anti-Muslim, ableist, trans- or queer-hostile actions or statements). The basis for the counselling is the subjective perception of the person seeking advice with regard to the discrimination they have experienced.
