There are many different advisory services available to you! You can also contact professional people outside of Heidelberg University for support with your concerns.

Legal counsel for issues related to sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and violence
On 15 November 2020, the Ministry of Science, Research and Art (Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst) appointed Michaela Spandau as legal counsel to help affected persons as well as institutions with issues related to sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and violence.
She can support those affected if they have questions that they want to discuss independently of the university. The university's contact persons can also turn to the legal counsel with questions.

Reporting incidents and counselling on different forms of discrimination
The various forms of discrimination differ and those affected need counselling and support from experts who work on the corresponding forms of discrimination. Documentation and monitoring are important tools for drawing attention to grievances. Therefore, there are anonymous incident reporting platforms and counselling services for specific forms of discrimination at the state and national level, which are listed below.
