UNIFY — Unit for Family, Diversity & Equality Anti-discrimination | Conflicts

Heidelberg University is a place of diversity where people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, with different values and ways of working, come together to conduct research, work and study.

The basis for our daily interactions is mutual respect and fairness. Our goal is to ensure a consistently positive working and educational environment for everyone at the university, whether they are studying, teaching or working here. However, conflicts and misconduct such as (multiple) discrimination (e.g. in the form of sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim, ableist, transphobic or queerphobic actions or statements), sexual harassment, bullying or stalking can arise in the course of working together. That is why we offer comprehensive information on this topic and professional solutions to deal with it appropriately.
