Governance und Commitment

Legal foundations, measures and stakeholders work together at Heidelberg University to ensure respectful and fair cooperation.

At Heidelberg University, a diverse community interacts with each other through teaching, research and work. The diversity of its members promotes inspiration - a positive creative spirit that is a living wish at universities! In order to ensure openness and respect for all people in many possible points of contact, universities have a vision as well as a legal obligation to manage incidents of conflict and misconduct.
Established preventative structures and processes are just as effective as agile concepts and objectives in dealing with the specific concerns of those seeking advice.
The Senate Guideline on Fair Conduct applies to all members and affiliates of the University in accordance with § 9 LHG in conjunction with § 4 of the Basic Regulations of Heidelberg University.
